Local Leagues

There are a number of local leagues that CTRA pariticipates in across the Indoor and Outdoor season each year.

Andy Harris League

The Andy Harris League is an indoor competition run every year for clubs in Essex and Suffolk. Teams are made up of 5 archers with the Andy Harris round being a short distance 15 yard round on a 40cm target. Each archer shooting 12 ends of 3 arrows for a maximum score of 360. Each month during the season a team has a virtual match against a team from another club. There are several divisions within the league so that each team has a manageable number of matches. Currently CTRA has 3 teams participating. If you wish to participate make sure you have a chat with our Leagues Officer.

Bray League

The Bray League is an indoor competition run every year for clubs in Essex and Suffolk. Teams are made up of 5 archers shooting a standard Bray I round. Each month during the season a team has a virtual match against a team from another club. There are several divisions within the league so that each team has a manageable number of matches. Currently CTRA has 3 teams participating. If you wish to participate make sure you have a chat with our Leagues Officer. As an official round if you shoot well enough you may be able to use your scores to contribute towards a Classification.

Albion League

The Albion League is an outdoor competition run every year for clubs in Essex and Suffolk. Teams are made up of 8 archers shooting an Albion round with the best 5 scores counting on the day. Each month during the season a team will have a home or away match against another club. Currently there is a single division and CTRA has a team representing us. If you wish to participate make sure you have a chat with our Leagues Officer. As an official round if you shoot well enough you may be able to use your scores to contribute towards a Classification.

Windsor League

The Windsor League is an outdoor competition run every year for clubs in Essex and Suffolk. Teams are made up of 8 archers shooting a Windsor round with the best 5 scores counting on the day. Each month during the season a team will have a home or away match against another club. Currently there is a single division and CTRA has a team representing us. If you wish to participate make sure you have a chat with our Leagues Officer. As an official round if you shoot well enough you may be able to use your scores to contribute towards a Classification.

Tournaments

CTRA host an indoor and outdoor tournament each year. During the indoor season we host the ECAA Indoor WA18 and during the outdoor season we host a WA70m tournament

ECAA Indoor WA18 Tournament

CTRA host the ECAAs annual Indoor WA18 tournament. This is a World Record Status event run over a weekend with multiple sessions. For full details and booking look here.

CTRA Double 720

CTRA host a Double 720 every summer. This is an individual competition where competitors shoot one of the WA rounds (WA70/60/50) and have the option to shoot the same round twice (once in each session).
